Bernal “Bud” Joseph Nichol, Jr. beloved husband, father and grandfather, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the age of 75. He was born on February 20, 1938 to Bernal Joseph, Sr. and Mary Margaret (Ringgold) Nichol in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Nichol; his daughters, Aileen Bowles and husband Alfred, Sharon Jost and husband Jeffrey and Susan A. Nichol; their mother, Margaret Nichol; step-children, Robin Ponder and Julie Sanders and husband Todd; granddaughter, Klaire N. Johnson; numerous step-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara “Nicky” Bourgeois and husband Garland.
Visitation will be held at 8:00am with a funeral service at 9:00am on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
