Benjamin Lee Baumann, lovingly known as "Benny", passed away peacefully on July 18, 2017 at the age of 52. Benny was born on September 1, 1964 to Tony and Patsy Baumann. Benny is survived by his parents, brother Jamie and wife Cynthia, sister Toni and husband Patrick York, niece Peyton York, and nephew Pierce York.
Benny was a graduate of St. Luke's Catholic School and was employed later in life at St. Luke's Catholic Church and School. Benny was formerly employed at Covenant Transport. Benny enjoyed racing motorcycles from an early age, Nascar racing and was exceptionally skilled at woodworking.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 24 at 10am at St. Luke's Catholic Church located at 4603 Manitou, San Antonio, Texas. Due to Benny's love for animals, in lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a contribution to the animal care shelter of your choice.
