Benito Guerra

Benito Guerra, 94, was born July 11, 1923 in Escobares, Texas. He passed away September 7, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. He retired from San Antonio Chest Hospital as an X-ray technician and served as a volunteer fireman in his early years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Crecelia Guerra, his parents Tomas Guerra and Petra Escobar, and his grandson Angel Escobar, Jr. He is survived by his son Angel Escobar, Sr., (Ramona-wife), his grandchildren Gerald Escobar (Debra-wife) and Sandra Garza (husband–Danny). Benito also has many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews which he loved very much. There will be a viewing from 5 - 9 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on 515 N. Main Ave. in San Antonio TX. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 9:00 am at Holy Name Catholic Church on 3814 Nash Blvd. in San Antonio, TX. Procession will immediately follow to burial at Mission Burial Park South at 1700 SE Military Dr., San Antonio, TX.Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, San Antonio, TX.
