She is preceded in death by her parents, Gonzalo Murguia and Estela Garcia Murguia; husband, Jose Duran Jr.;brother, Jaime Murguia.

She is survived by her daughter, Griselda Duran; son, Eric Duran; grandchildren, Xavier Duran, Julian Jacob Espino, Natalie Duran, Mia Duran and Marc Anthony Espino; siblings, Carmen Gallegos, Fernando Murguia, Juan Murguia, Daniel Murguia, Maria Estela Murguia, Victoria Murguia and Virginia Murguia.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Services will conclude in the chapel.

Graveside Services and Inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1530 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio,TX 78209.
