Beatrice J. Lopez, age 89, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2015. She was born on October 3, 1925 in Cementville, TX to Eustaquio & Romana Jimenez. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roman R. Lopez; 4 children, James Lopez & wife Maria, Adrian Lopez, Norma Nowinsky & husband David and Marta Kennedy & husband Kevin; 3 grandchildren, Bill Lopez, Ben Lopez and Kyle Kennedy; 2 great-grandchildren, Mia & Miguel Lopez; brothers, Rudy & Gilbert; sisters, Betty & Espi; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be 6 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel followed by a 7pm Prayer Service. The Graveside Service will be 10:15 am, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Heart to Heart Homecare, New Century Hospice and especially Connie Ramirez who was an angel and is now part of the family.
