Barbara Jean Byers Jinnette

Barbara “Babs” Jean Jinnette, I hope some day to meet God, because I want to thank Him for the flowers – Robert Brault. Babs took great pride and pleasure in nurturing her flowers and working in her yard. She loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, friends and neighbors, and cheering on her favorite football teams. Mom left on her journey to thank God for all her earthly blessings on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She leaves behind her children, Candy Jinnette-Gershman (Richard), Cindy Jinnette-Cunningham (Russell) and Michael Jinnette (Candith). Her prized blossoms were her 7 grandchildren, Arnae, Mallorie, Preston, Taylor, Carson, Michael and Jake. She also lived to be blessed with her first great-grandchild, Rylie. The family would also like to thank all the many doctors and nurses that cared for Babs. A big thank you to the SAMMC ICU 2S nurses that helped care for our mother during her time at the hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 18th at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 518 Pike Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209 with a reception to follow.
