Aurora V. Vaca

Aurora Villarreal Vaca, born on March 24, 1914 went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents Victor Villarreal and Angelmira, son Joe Vaca, son in-law Steve Gibson, sisters Angelica Hettinger, Minerva Rivas, Beatrice Aldrighette and Gloria Sargologas, Brothers, Rafael Villarreal and Daniel Villarreal. She is survived by daughters Dolores Gibson and Angelica Wilson, son in-law Kevin Wilson, daughter in-law Sylvia Vaca, sister Ethyl (Manda) Martinez and brother Victor Villarreal and sister in-law Alicia Vaca. Aurora had 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. At a young age she was a business owner and owned a beauty salon. She led a life of joy, happiness, laughter and love. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and helping others in the community. Aurora began her life in San Antonio with her husband Joe on June 19, 1938. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30am on Friday, January 4, 2013 to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for a 9:00am Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
