He is survived by his mother, Dana Kirby-Vogeler of Boerne, Texas; sister Lauren Vogeler; father Charles August Vogeler (Abby); step sisters Amy and Cindy Oppenheim of California; grandfather Tom Kirby; great-aunt Ramona Paulus; uncle Frank Kirby; uncle Jesse Kirby (Gigi Galvan-Kirby); cousins Brandon, Garrett and Aaron Kirby; and numerous friends whose lives he touched.
August is preceded in death by his much-loved and adored grandmother, Dorothy Kirby, who was waiting for him with open arms.
Our lives will be forever changed without you. We miss your beautiful smile, sensitive spirit, and loving heart. We miss you Augie more than words can ever say. We will love you always and forever until we meet again.
