Audrey Hill

She was born to Ulas and Mollie Solomon on March 22, 1924 in Tennessee. Audrey and her parents moved to Collin County, Texas in 1925 and later to Alvarado, Texas. Audrey graduated from Alvarado High School in 1941.

She and Waldo Hill married December 24, 1941 and lived in Missouri, Austin, Texas, and finally San Antonio, Texas. Audrey graduated from Durham’s Business College in 1942. She also attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri for two years and Austin Community College.

Audrey was active in First Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas, with WMU and the clothing ministry. She was also participated in the Volunteer Council at the State Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Waldo Hill, daughter Beverly Clay, and brother, Ulas “Sprout” Solomon.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Richardson, nephews Charles and Harold Richardson, and their wives.
