Antonio, TX at the age of 89. He was born on October 14, 1933 to Arturo and Carolina
Arizpe. Arturo Xavier was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather,
brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Marina L. Arizpe, his children, Arturo Arizpe, Gerardo Arizpe,
Nancy Martinez, Marina Hoffman, Blanca Hemann, and Luis Arizpe, and his sister,
Nelly Arizpe de Lara. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Otilia
Carolina Arizpe de Pérez.
Driven by the dream to build a better life, Arturo Xavier immigrated to San Antonio in
1959 and was very proud to eventually become a US citizen. He had a
strong work ethic and a commitment to overcoming challenges. He was certainly not a
quitter.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home located at
1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218 at 1:00 p.m.
All friends and family are welcome.
