Antonio P. Trevino loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2011 at the age of 67. Antonio was born on August 24, 1943 in San Antonio. Mr. Trevino honorably served in the United Air Force Reserves for 39 years. He was a member of the ACTS Men’s group and loves to spend his time fishing. One of his greatest passions was to spend his weekends watching his grandsons playing basketball, his granddaughter play volleyball, and his love for the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolfo and Anita Trevino. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Josie Trevino; children, Joanne Martinez, Anthony Trevino and wife Vickey, and Jackie Trevino; grandchildren, Adrian Martinez, Anthony Trevino Jr., and Katterina Trevino; siblings, Stella Salazar, Mary Ann Crowell, Virginia Tomlinson, and Rudy Trevino; sister-in-law, SuzAnne Morales (Robert); brothers-in-law, Jerry Tavitas (Diane) and David Tavitas (Julie); companion, his dog, Samson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. The family would like to express their appreciation for all of the kind and gentle care from Brook Army Medical Center. A visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, and a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. that same evening at the funeral home. Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011 to conduct the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Road. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
