Antonio Coronado Gonzales, age 99 entered rest Monday, January 21, 2013. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas, on August 17, 1913. He was the eldest member of his generation and is survived by his brothers Romolo, Mauro, Joe Gonzales, his sister Francis Sierra, half-brothers and Sister Isidro B., Isidoro B., Nicolas Gonzales, Julia Ramirez, son Juan A. Gonzales (Ruth), daughter Rachel G. Carrillo, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a survivor of ‘The Great Depression’ along with his wife, Francisca Gonzales, who preceded him; they created a 'home' for their children and family that is still remembered. He leaves behind a great legacy of diligence, perseverance, resourcefulness and conservation. May he Rest in Peace. Visitation was held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart, 2114 W.
