Through boxing he was able to meet and became good friends with the late sports commentator Dan Cook and many others. Mr. Castillo also worked as a Printer at Kelly AFB where he retired after 25 years of service. Alongside his wife and family, Mr. Castillo operated three restaurants in the west side of San Antonio; the last being the well known Don Simon Restaurant for over 15 years. “Tony” enjoyed traveling and often spoke of places he wanted to visit.
