Antonia Martinez Sanchez, age 75, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Antonia was born in Natalia, Texas on October 25, 1945 to Jose Angel Martinez and Augustina Nira Martinez. Antonia was married to Jose Leopoldo Ledesma Sanchez. Antonia was a homemaker for many years, and had a passion for shopping, eating, and most of all spending time with family.
Antonia was preceded in death by spouse Jose Leopoldo Ledesma Sanchez; parents Jose Angel Martinez and Augustina Nira Martinez; her grandparents Luis and Petra Martinez, Juan and Santos Nira; siblings Ramona, Carmen, and Ernest; and grandson Alejandro.
Antonia is survived by her children Maria Flores, Celina Ibarra, Carmen Palacios, Leo Sanchez, Carol Rodriguez, Joel Sanchez, and Antonio Sanchez; siblings Eddie, Juana, Jose, Albert, and Oscar; grand children Amanda, Manuel, Roberto, Gabriela, Julie, Benito Flores III, Victoria, Marisa, Angelina, Christian, Nicole, Leah, Lilly, Ethan, Mireya, Isaiah, Klaresse, Joel Jacob, and Joseph.
A visitation for Antonia will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A rosary will occur at 7:00 PM. A mass of resurrection will occur Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 1606 San Casimiro, San Antonio, TX 78214. An interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
