Anthony Michael Saldana Jr. was born on April 5, 2002. He got his wings and became an angel on January 18, 2020. He was preceded in death by this great-grandparents, Dolores and Javier Favela; and Julia and Charles Clayton; his grandma, Virginia Olazaran; uncle, Ramiro Saldana Jr., and cousins: Wayne Krueger and Logan Copeland. He is survived by his beautiful 3 year old daughter, Marilynn Rose Saldana; mother, Juliana Favela-Herrera; father, Anthony Saldana; sisters: Alana Marie Saldana, Jocelyn Aileen, and Matilyn Arabella; brothers: Joshua Javier Ramirez and Julian Matthew Herrera; grandparents: Don and Kathy Copeland; grandpa: Homer Ruben Favela; grandpa: Ramiro O. Saldana; aunt and second mother: Krishna Salinas; uncles: David Salinas, Anthony J. Favela, Darian Copeland, and Chris Copeland; aunts: Michelle Pastrano and Erica Mendoza; cousins: Nicole Robin, John Krueger, Christina, Anthony, Samantha, Amanda, Jonathan Saldana, Leon Skyler, and Neomi Copeland; as well as numerous great aunts and uncles, extended family and friends.
Anthony had many friends that loved "Bighead" dearly. Anthony was a lover of all types of music including Eminem, J-Cole, Neil Young, and the Beatles. He loved writing verses, poems and rapping. He loved watching musicals and plays. He loved going on vacations with his family, but most of all loved being a father and a brother. As a child he loved Spider-Man, Harry Potter, and Westside Story. He also loved to read and his favorite books were Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Boxcar Children, Paper Towns and the Bible. He had a brilliant mind and won several awards in school and was recognized for all of his academic achievements. Anthony wanted to become a scientist and cure cancer, while at the same time becoming a millionaire rapper. He always told his mother he was gonna buy her a house on Prince Edward Island make her dreams come true. He had tons of friends that loved him and still love him and all have so many of their own memories with him. Anthony was only 17 years old, but he accomplished so much in such a short time. He was too good for this world so the Lord had to take him home.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, San Antonio, Texas, with a Prayer Service to begin at 5:00 p.m.
