Anna M. Mosley

Anna Mae “Anne” Mosley, beloved mother and grandmother gently passed away on January 13, 2021 surrounded by loved ones in her home. She was born to Adrian and Clara Kievit on December 8, 1914 in Passaic, New Jersey, the youngest of 5 children. Anne was married to Frederick M. Mosley on September 18, 1936 and lived happily as a Navy Officer’s wife at his side until his death June 1962 in San Diego, CA. They had three children, William Hamilton Mosley, John Frederick Mosley and Jane Leilani Mosley (Bueno).

She is preceded in death by husbands Captain Frederick M. Mosley and Vice Admiral Wallace B. Short, her son William H. Mosley, grandson Todd C. Mosley and great-granddaughter Tessa Rose Duzan. She is survived by son John F. Mosley and wife Susan, daughter Jane L. Bueno and husband Joe, daughter-in-law Sandra Mosley-Knipling and husband Tom, Stepsons Ben Short and wife Jef, Wallace Short and wife Susan. Grandchildren Kimberly Hildebrand and husband Dan, Clinton Blackstock, Aaron Bueno and fiancée Kaila, Matthew Bueno and wife Larissa; step-grandson Colin Tisdale . Great grandchildren Jeremy Hildebrand and wife Kristin, Jillian Duzan and husband Matt, Kathryn Ann Hildebrand, Sarah Hildebrand, and Kaleb Bueno. Great-great grandchildren Hailey Williams, Madison Williams, Joseph Hildebrand, Benjamin Hildebrand, and Brynnlee Duzan. She is also survived by cherished nieces and nephews. We are forever grateful for her many caregivers with special honor to Patricia Stowe, Gracie Rodriguez, Veronica Munoz and Linda Merrell and her wonderful hospice nurse, April.
