Angelita "Angie" Valle Whitestone

Angelita “Angie” Valle Whitestone, passed away on January 28, 2023, at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 2, 1938, in Uvalde, Texas to Salome (father) and Santos “Santitos” Flores Valle (mother). She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Anita Valle Martinez, Seferina “Chefe” Valle Riojas, brother Antonio Valle and daughter, Sharon Sandoval. She graduated from Uvalde High School in 1956 and worked 30 years for the Department of Defense as a civil servant in various locations. She enjoyed spending and playing card games with family and friends, watching and attending sports events, and travelling to different parts of the world.

She is survived by her husband, Louis L. Whitestone, sons Ronald “Ron” Sandoval and wife Blanca, Edward “Ed” Sandoval and wife Sheri, Thomas “Tom” Sandoval and wife Marie. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A dedicated and beloved wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, Angie touched many lives and will be dearly missed.

The family would like to give special thanks and recognition to the Doctors, nurses, and support staff of Methodist Stone Oak Hospital for the expert, professional and superlative care and comfort for Angie. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
