I remember her as the tall, beautiful girl, as in passing in the halls, she would smile. Her beauty was not only on the outside, but inside as well. She let her light shine to all who knew her, or WISHED to know her! I remembered her for YEARS thereafter. What an INFLUENCE she was!

I was in the 8th grade with Jeanie,we lost contact as I moved.I use to be envous of Jeanie cause she was so pretty.I would wonder what its like to be so beautiful.May you rest in peace.I also loved her laughshe was so sweet.God bless you all.

To the family of Jeanie King Lawson.I remember her as a beautiful little girl, and young lady marching in the dance squad at Robert E Lee,what a beautiful person in side and out,I took her and my daughter Tina to the fiesta parade in 1963 what memories of her and her sister Judy I have,My prayers are with her family may God be with you during this time. The first time I met Jeanie was at Nimitz in 8th grade.I was representing my English class at the school spelling bee and Jeanie was pinning ribbons on contestants. She came up to me and said "you'll do fine." She could see the nervousness on my face. Well, I misspelled the first word, I was eliminated but Jeanie came up to me and said nice try...I don't remember the word but I do remember Jeanie...I'll miss her...Louis Vidaurri

Jeanie and I knew each other because we went to the same church, Gethsemane Lutheran on Nassau.  We both attended Nimitz and Lee together, too.  In May of 1970, we were confirmed.  That following Halloween, the Luther League (the youth group at our church) had a fancy masquerade dance.  This included black lights and dry-ice fog.  Jeanie won the best costume contest because she was dressed up as "I Dream of Jeanie."  This morning, I began a thread on FaceBook.  Another of her old friends has picked it up and it's amazing how many are pouring out their hearts for Jeanie.  She was LOVED!!!

Jeanie and I were friends in middle school.  Just as sweet as she is beautiful.  May God keep and comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Many of my childhood memories include the King family.  I remember playing with Jeanie while our parents visited each other.  My heart felt condolances go to Angela and the rest of the family. I know how hard this time will be for the entire family.  God Bless you all.
