For almost 30 years, Angie was an assiduous parishioner of St. Luke’s Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic minister and lector. She was involved in countless community activities and charitable organizations throughout her life but her main areas of focus were always her faith in God, and her love for family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Victor Moreno of Manor, a sister, Ana Maria Gonzales, her children, Angela Colonna and husband Stephen, Patti Rodriguez and husband George, George Gutierrez III, Miguel Angel Gutierrez of Dallas and wife Jana and Elsa Underwood and husband Bill. A mass celebrating her life will be held at St Luke’s Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Drive, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2011 with Rev. Jim Barlow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Center Council (CCC), a broad-based, non-profit organization supporting the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) of the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. Our eternal thanks go out to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff at the CTRC for their unwavering commitment to the eradication of cancer.
