Angela Castro

She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion F. Castro, Juan R. Castro; siblings Concepcion C. Salazar and Jose Juan Castro; and her lifetime friend, Hector Esquivel. Angela is survived by her sisters Juanita L. Saenz and Dionicia Ferdin; numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Castro worked for Kelly Air Force Base for 35 Years. Later in life, Angela volunteered for Frank M. Tejeda VA and University Health System, and was a member of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) and Los Bexarenos Genealogical and Historical Society. Ms. Castro was also a member of the Altar Servers at St. Gabriel, and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Bishop Odin # 1758. Angela loved her family very much. She dedicated her life to taking care of her mother until her death. She will be truly missed by family and friends.

The Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart on Thursday, February 2, 2023 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 747 SW 39 St., San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando No. 2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
