Angie was born at Santa Rosa Hospital (downtown) on December 19, 1942. She was the first of three daughters of Barbara Jarzombek Stos and Edward J. Stos. The Stos Family belonged to St. Gerard Catholic Church so Angie attended both St. Gerard Grade School and St. Gerard High School continuing onto Our Lady of the Lake University for her undergraduate degree and her Master’s in Library Science. She worked for several years at the city public libraries and then moved onto becoming a civil service employee working at the Medical Library at Brooks Air Force Base until her retirement.
Angie was married to Cliff Barber for 37 years. After they both retired, they spent some time traveling. Her favorite places were California, Colorado, Utah, and the Texas coast. They purchased a home on Canyon Lake where they enjoyed spending time relaxing by the water.
Angie is preceded by her husband, Cliff Barber. She is survived by her loving sisters and brother-in-law: Sister Marcelle Stos, SSND, and Rosalie & Jack Klein; two nephews: Edward Lee Klein and his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Denali and Ed; Jeffrey Lee Klein and his fiancée Tania Gonzalez. Angie greatly delighted in being with her family, her cousins, her Church friends, and the friends she made at the William during her last years. Her family is very appreciative of the care Angie received from the personnel at The William Senior Living Memory Care Facility.
