Andrew Morales, age 85, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Andrew was born in San Antonio, Texas to Leonor and Aurelio Morales. He worked as an aircraft electrician for almost his whole life and was a proud member of the AFL-CIO. Andrew loved traveling and visiting countries all over the world. He was a big sports fan and loved the Cowboys, Aggies, and Spurs. Andrew also was, perhaps more than anything, a family man and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Andrew is preceded in death by both of his parents; his sisters, Gloria Morales Palacios and Elia Morales Mugica; and his grandson, Daniel Lee Kelley. He is survived by his 3 children, Margaret Ann Morales Kelley (Richard), Evangeline Morales Stokes (Brian), and Henrietta Morales; 2 grandchildren, Jason Andrew Kelley (Maycee) and Joanna Michelle Vela (Michael); his 5 great-grandchildren, Cyprus Kelley, Adeline Kelley, Eliana Vela, Adriel Vela, and Miralee Vela; his brother, Armando Morales (Norma); his sister, Maricela Morales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A visitation for Andrew will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 6:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A chapel service will occur Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:30 AM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205 with burial to follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78266.
The Chapel Service will be live streamed through Funeraria Del Angel Facebook Page on Friday, April 14, 2023. The video will start a few minutes before 10:30AM.
