Andrea Polendo

Andrea Polendo; beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, entered eternal rest on October 21, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 92. She was born on December 14, 1921 in Stockdale, Texas to Concepcion and Santos Lopez, and is preceded in death by her parents, husband Enrique, children: Henry, Oralia, Robert, and Rogelio; grandchild, David Lee Campos; and great-grandchild, David Joseph Cevallos. She is survived by her daughter; Irene and husband Frank R. Diaz, Grandchildren: Anthony, Christopher A., Edna, Elias, Elisa, Emilio, Ernie, Janie, John, John Gil, Justine,Melinda, Melissa, Richard; Shaun B.; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Andrea will be remembered for her love of playing bingo and quilting. The family will be receiving guests at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue on Friday, October 24, 2014 with a Chapel service at 10:00 a.m. and interment to follow in First Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m.
