Andrea V. Borrego

Andrea V. Borrego, 89, went to be with her Lord on October 10, 2017. She was born December 31, 1927 to Vincent and Trinidad Vasquez in Brackettville, Texas. Andrea was very involved with Sacred Heart Catholic church, serving in the altar society, the Guadalupanas, and Eucharistic Minister. At St. Ann’s Catholic church she was also in the Guadalupanas, and dedicated to the church working with different fundraisers, choirs, carnivals and so much more. She was an awesome cook, and a loving grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Richard Borrego; and daughter Beatrice Saenz. She is survived by her daughters: Lucia Llanes and husband Manuel, and Alicia Martinez, and husband Ruben; sons: Gabriel Borrego (Tammy), and George Borrego (Blanca); 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers 515 N. Main Ave. on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.. The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Ann's Catholic Church 210 St. Ann's St. with internment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
