Amy Lynn Meyers

Amy Lynn Meyers, age 41, passed away February 1, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on February 6, 1974 in Moenchengladbach, Germany. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who will be dearly missed. A graduate from Judson High School and an educator for over fifteen years, Amy held secondary teaching certifications in English Language Arts, Biology, Composite Science, and Mathematics as well as Generalist (4-8) and School Counseling (K-12). People who knew her best would say that Amy put the needs of her family ahead of her own and that she had a wry sense of humor.

Amy was preceded in death by her daughter, Michaela Meyers.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Daniel W. Meyers; two children, Warren Meyers and Hope Meyers; parents, William and Christy Vereecken; parents-in-law, C.T. and Lena Meyers; brother, Patrick Vereecken.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 3pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
