Amelia Torres

Amelia “Elena” L. Torres, born August 18, 1930 passed away on March 12, 2018 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe & Juanita Luna; beloved husband of 49 years, Aciano J. Torres; parents-in-law, Roman & Apolina Torres; 5 brothers, 5 brother-in-law, and 8 sisters-in-law. She is survived by her children; Valentin Torres and Alejandrita Torres; grandchildren, Naomi Jimenez (Leonel Nuncio), Joe B. Jimenez III, Luciana Ramirez (Vincent), Cipriana Torres and Mariah Torres and great grandchildren, Aciano Ramirez and Elena Ramirez. Mrs. Torres is also survived by her sisters, Juana G. Soria, Elvira Dominguez, sister-in-law, Carmen Luna, brother-in-law, Celestino Orosco, numerous nieces and nephews including Melizanda Rendon who she raised, and also her beloved pet Chiquito Torres.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Tx. 78237 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00p.m. On Saturday, March 24, 2018 a chapel service will be held at 10:00a.m. with a procession to follow to Chapel Hill Memorial Park for interment.
