Amelia F. Garcia born on October 5, 1924 in Waco, TX went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2012 at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos G. Garcia. She is survived by sons and daughters, Carlos Garcia, Jr. (Paula), Elsa Lopez (Ramon, Jr.), Beatrice Garcia and Tony Garcia (Mitzi); also, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday May 17, 2012 followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
