Amalia Romero Lopez, born on December 7, 1932 in Harlingen, TX was called to be with the Lord on October 22, 2017 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her parents, Porfirio Romero and Guadalupe Ramirez; husband, Balbino G. Lopez; son, Balbino Lopez Jr.; brothers, Claudio, Rodolfo, Richardo. She is survived by her children, Patricia Lopez with her husband Joe Cardenas, Anthony Lopez with his wife Guadalupe; grandchildren, Deborah, Krystal, George and Melanie and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Lopez was very dedicated to her family with her bible at her side. Her passion was her garden and also taking a relaxing break to enjoy a Hersey Chocolate Bar. Visitation will be held at 5:00p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Funeraria De Angel Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a Rosary will be recited at 7:00p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
