Alvi Rohde, born on March 6, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. She was an avid artist. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Fred Rohde; sons, Ron Rohde and Sterling Rohde; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the funeral home. A private interment will follow at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Alvi’s name.
