Alvina E. Limon

Alvina E. Limon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, entered rest on March 28, 2015 at the age of 84. A native of San Antonio, she was born to Lorenso and Albina Reyna on April 14, 1930. She was a member and Guadalupana of St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Leonardo Limon, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leonardo M. Limon their children: Mary Duffitt and husband Steven, Rachel L Maldonado, David E. Limon and wife Yvonne; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Guerrero; several nieces and nephews. Alvina will be remembered by her family for her strength yet simple nature who always had a smile. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m.,Wednesday, April 1, 2015 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church.
