The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Hilda Mendoza, Aurora Villarreal, Nena Bustamante, and Carolina Herrera. These ladies cared for our mother like she was their own mother. They were the daughters that our mother always wished she had and they brought joy and comfort to her during the last years of her life. Also, a special thank you to Amanda Tchou, her nearby neighbor, who checked on her and gave her companionship for many years. We are forever grateful to all of you beautiful angels!
We would also like to thank Heart of Texas Hospice and their special team of Dr. Angelica Davila and Jill Galvan (her nurse) for tending to her medical needs the last few months. They both visited our mother at home, which made it extremely convenient for her to receive medical care. Finally, thank you to Dr. Frank Mueller who served as our mother’s primary care physician when she was initially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We are grateful for your willingness to try new treatments to extend her life and give us more time with her.
Visitation will be from 6 pm - 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd, on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
