Alicia P. Solis

Alicia Pena Solis was born on April 10, 1932, in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Abel and Jesusa (Charles) Pena. She passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Alicia married Martin Vasquez Solis in 1960. They raised seven children partly in San Antonio, Texas; Tachikawa, Japan; but mostly in Waipahu, Hawaii. After retiring from the Department of Defense with 38 years of service, she enjoyed touring foreign countries in Europe and the Holy Land with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Martin; children, Ernest, Nora Adams, Martin, Robert (Sita), Martha Brown (John), Sylvia McDonell (George) and Jesus; sister, Adelina Barrientes; 18 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Adolfo, Andrea, Armandina, Abel, Alfonso, Anna.
