Alicia Salas

Alicia G. Salas, age 57, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 1, 2020 @ 10:10am. She was born on August 21, 1962, in San Antonio to Baldamar Galvan, Sr. & Susanna C. Galvan. Before becoming sick and placed at Sunrise Senor Living, Alice was full of life, never showed fear in her eyes and always with a plan. Working 2-3 jobs at a time to support her family and always ready for the weekends to make her known cooking and her bottle of Jack Daniels when she wanted to relax. Alicia was always in a dancing mood and was the first on the floor to dance or be asked to dance. Throughout her life, she always had things her way and was not shy to ever make her opinion heard, she was a fighter but more of a lover. She always instilled in her children to never give up and to let the world paint you as it will, because only we know the struggles. Alicia will be missed, and her memory will live on through her loved ones and friends she had made while on this earth. She is survived by her children, Christopher Salas, Tricia Tavitas, & Richard Galvan (Anthem Ash), her daughter in law, Cassandra Salas, her son in law, Rhon William Ash and her grandchildren Isiah, Landon & Jenson Morales, Jaylynn Rodriguez & Abigail Rene Anaya-Salas. This isn’t goodbye, just see you when I see you. The visitation will be held Thursday Mach 5, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio Texas, 78237. A celebration of Life will be held at Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church Friday March 6, 2020 at 10:00am with a committal service to follow at San Fernando III.
