Alicia was born in Sierra Vista, Arizona on July 14, 2001. From the start, Alicia was precocious, had a fascination for the world around her, and had an unquenchable thirst to feed her mind with knowledge. She enjoyed learning about different cultures and had a selfless passion for helping and caring for others. In her short life, Alicia was a violist, soccer player, cheerleader, and was an enthusiast of every music genre, anime, architecture, and reading. She especially loved spending time with her adored dog, Penny. Alicia was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Alicia’s legacy of unconditional love and warmth is carried on through her parents, Tayna and Antonio Garcia, her brother Joshua Garcia, her abuelitos Rosa and Antonio Garcia, her grandparents Kim and Wayne Ige, her ninos Angelica and Luis Moran, and all her aunts, uncles, and her cherished cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13th from 6-8 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. We request all of Alicia’s loved ones to join us in a service and celebration of her beautiful life on Thursday, April 14th at 1:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wreaths Across America, an organization Alicia loved supporting.
