Alice Ruth Walthall

Alice Ruth Brady Walthall, age 90, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Alice was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 70 years. She was a member of the Battle of Flowers Association, Junior League and her Bridge Club. Her greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Walter Walthall, Jr. She is survived by her son, Walter Walthall, III and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Sally Walthall Cribbs and husband, Dr. Thomas Cribbs, Sr.; grandchildren, Dr. Walter Walthall IV and wife, Julie, Laura Walthall Cotter and husband, Tim, Ellen Walthall Nicholas and husband Andrew, and Thomas Cribbs Jr. and wife, Shelley; great grandchildren, Thomas Cribbs III, Abigail Walthall, Grace Walthall and Carolyn Cotter; many wonderful nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Nancy Brown, Gloria Gomez and Blanca Ruiz for their kindness and loving care of our mother.
