As children our best friends are always our cousins. Alice and I would always play outside at our Grandmother’s house. We had to be outside so we wouldn’t listen to what everyone was talking about inside, but we played right by the window so we heard everything. As teenagers we had our lives to run so we would be as far as we could from windows and doors . We were planning our future; what our plans were after high school, trips, boyfriends., etc. As we moved on to our adult life, our conversations were mostly on the phone and we didn’t care who was listening. Alice, we are less in your absence. Rest In Peace.

So saddened to hear of Alice’s  passing.  She was a classmate and a wonderful friend.  We played volleyball and basketball in school.  Had some great times.  She was always so sweet and always smiling.

I have many fond memories of Alice.  She was a classmate since middle school through high school from Floresville.  She was a good friend, always pleasant, never a gossiped always a strong individual you could confide in.  Shared many good times.  Rest In Peace Alice.

My deepest condolences to the Gomez family. I met Alice many years ago when we both worked at TRC. She was a great friend and a good person. She had a great personality and worked herself up the ladder through dedication in her work and schooling from Secretary to becoming a good Counselor. I have great respect and memories of our relationship. May God bless her and have her in his paradise.

My deepest condolences to the family. I remember Alice when I first started working at Texas Rehabilitation Commission. I was always in awe how she held her own in a mostly male counselor office. As a very young person in the early 80’s, she made quite an impression on me. God bless!

My deepest condolences to all the family. She spoke lovingly about you all, ALICE was my fellow Social Worker,my friend of many many years. We would talk for hours of problem cases and how we handled them. We talked about getting older and our health problems. She had a heart of gold always helping friends. Good Bye my friend ......,,
