Alice A. Garcia entered eternal rest on November 23, 2016 at the age of 77. A native of San Antonio, Texas; she was born to Nick and Frances Anthony on June 23, 1939. She now reunites with her parents, husband Henry C. Garcia, brothers: Rudy, Robert, and Roger; she is survived by her children: Larry (Donna) Rosas, Ronald Garcia, Kenneth (Olga) Garcia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Some of Alice's hobbies included shopping and playing bingo, but her most memorable moments were spent talking and being with family and friends. The family will receive guests at Roy Akers Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. to celebrate a 9:15 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
