Alfredo A. Rendon Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben, Sr. and Trinidad Rendon.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Lupe Rendon; children, Alfredo P. Rendon, Jr. (Truc), Basilio Rendon, Christina Rendon and Ruben Perez; grandchildren, Emily Medellin (Nelson), Jeremiah Rendon, Kenneth Juarez, Abigail Villarreal (Lauro) , Celeste Rendon, Isaiah Rendon, Eddie Gonzales, Bella Pena and Devin Rendon; great grandchildren, Rooney Medellin, Swazye Medellin, Edward Villarreal, Natalia Villarreal and Daniel Villarreal; siblings, Elisa Wimberly (Roy), Frank Rendon (Cindy), Ruben Rendon, Jr. (Alice) and Rachel Hernandez (Carlos).

Alfredo proudly served his country in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. He was a devoted member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church where he volunteered for 10 years at the church gym and he also enjoyed coaching baseball.

A visitation for Alfredo will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary service to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
