Alfredo Martinez Gomez Jr. born on September 24, 1929 in San Antonio TX was called to be with the Lord on October 17, 2014 at the of 85. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elidia A. Gomez; brother, Edward Gomez; sister, Elodia Rodriguez. He is survived by daughters; Gloria G. Rodriguez, Esther G. Silva and Isabel G. Hadley and husband, Daniel W. Hadley ; grandchildren, Monique Washington, Henry G. Rodriguez Jr., Jacob Rodriguez, Roxanne Rodriguez, Mark G. Silva, Cynthia S.. Luna, Valerie G. Silva and Danielle I. Hadley; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; sisters, Velia Cano and Dahlia Garcia; also numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
