Alfredo U. Garza

The Beloved Lord called upon Alfredo U. Garza to join him in Heaven on August 24, 2011 at the age of 81. He is now reunited with his wife of 53 years, Maria Elena. Alfredo was born on January 31, 1930 in Crawford, Texas. He was a loving

and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed by all. He enjoyed laughing with family and friends, being surrounded by music, reading anything he could get his hands on, and enjoying nature’s beauty through bird watching, and gardening. He is survived by sons, Louis Garza and wife Christina, Miguel Garza and wife Rose Mary, Mark Garza and wife Michelle, and daughter, Graciela Garza, 15 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. He would tell everyone this is “Part of the life”. We all look forward to the day when our family will reunite with them in our Lord’s Kingdom. Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Palo Alto, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
