Alfred Knox Goforth

ALFRED KNOX GOFORTH left this earth on Thursday December 22, 2011. He was born on October 6, 1929 to Claude Goforth and Bernice Bradshaw Goforth in Blackflat,Texas. Alfred's first love was Norma Jean (Jeannie) Brewer.

Those who preceded him in death are his wife, parents, his sister Karen Sagray, and two nephews.

Left to mourn him is his two sons; Alfred Kelly Goforth, Jimmy Knox Goforth and daughter Marion Frances Keith. His sister Freda Garcia (Charles), His grandchildren Jennifer Keith, Kelly Goforth (Crystal), Crystal Wood (Chester) and Brittney Keith. Great Grandchildren; Shelby Davis, Justin Wood, Dylan Davis, Rayna Bomer, Madison Wood, Colten Wood and Merrick Goforth. And numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Alfred lived in Dilley, Texas for the past 8 years. He loved to be on the ranch and look at all the wildlife.Alfred was able to accomplish anything from building a motor to building a house. He was always looking forward to the next project. Alfred had a sense of humor and mischief and loved to laugh and kid. Alfred always gave much more than he received and that’s the way he wanted it. His passing is an incomparable loss to us all. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be 11 am, Friday, December 30, 2011 with the Funeral Service to be at 12noon at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

The family would like to give thanks to the Doctors and nurses in the ICU unit at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas for their loving care.
