Alexandra Dickerson

Alexandra Maria Dickerson was born on June 12, 1992 in Northampton, MA to John and Maylene Dickerson and passed away on May 15, 2016 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 23. Alexandra, or Alex as she was known to most, was full of life, had a smile that could light the room with a personality to match, and one of the friendliest people you would ever meet. Alex recently completed beautician college and was working in her new career as a cosmetologist. She was engaged to the man of her dreams, Joshua Zink, and was set to be married in October 2016. Alex loved life and was passionate about: good BBQ, floating down the river, hanging out with friends, cuddling with cats, having her hair brushed, finishing a "Great" haircut, a walk in the park, a good shade tree, Lady GaGa, fishing, watching shows and movies, sunflowers, painting with a twist, playing Shanghai Rummy, and curling up with a good book. Always quick-witted and compassionate, Alex was a zealous defender of her friends and those less fortunate than herself. She made a huge impact on people's lives and was dedicated in everything she did. Her confidence, ambition, and independence will continue to inspire all of us. In addition to the many friends, loved ones and extended family members, Alexandra is survived by her Mother Maylene Dickerson and Brother Steven Nassar. Visitation is set for Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Funeral Service on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00am with Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
