Alberto "Tony" Sanchez

Alberto “Tony” Sanchez passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Alberto was born in Beeville, Texas June 6, 1933 to parents, Nolberto and Teofila Sanchez. Alberto is preceded in death by his parents and brother’s, Andrew and Norbeto Sanchez and sister, Olga Gonzalez. Alberto is survived by his wife of 58 years; Annie. Alberto is also survived by his sons, Anthony Sanchez (Della) and John G. Sanchez (Aurora) and daughter, Selina M. Sanchez. Alberto is also survived by four grandchildren, Olivia Golden (Steven), Mile Sanchez, Lisa Summerville (Joel) and Jesse Reyes (Marla) along with three great-grandchildren.

Alberto served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard for 32 years, he also worked for Marshall Clegg for 30 years in sales, Alberto was an avid bowler bowling a 296.

Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1114 Willow St., San Antonio, Texas 78208 Monday, August 24, 2015 at 9:30am followed by interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
