Albert Castano Silva went to be with the lord on January 21, 2015 at the age of 87. He was a loving father who loved fishing, working on old Volkswagen cars, home improvement projects, and carpentry work. He also enjoyed working for Miller Brewing Company, where he committed 40 years of service. He was married to his beloved wife Beatrice Silva, of 44 years. He will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Silva, and son Charles A. Silva. He is survived by 2 sons: Albert P. (Silvia) Silva, and Arthur P. (Sharon) Silva, 2 grandchildren: David Silva and Ryan Silva; 3 great-grandchildren: Tara Fraga, Paige Silva, Alex Silva, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. A chapel service will begin on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
