Albert H. Warburton, III, DDS, passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas on July 29, 2014. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 10, 1932 to Albert Henry Warburton, Jr. and Agnes Baass Warburton, he attended Sacred Heart in Corpus Christi, Central Catholic and St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Texas Dental School. He spent his childhood summers in Victoria, working at the family ranch and at his maternal grandparent’s grocery store. Al practiced dentistry for many years, often providing services to three generations of families, finally retiring in 2009. He also served as a Captain in the Air Force, providing his dentistry skills to servicemen during the Korean conflict. An avid traveler, scuba diver, and photographer, Al traveled the world in search of the perfect photo, whether it be on land or sea. He will be truly missed by his family, his friends, and those who worked many years by his side in his dental profession.
Al is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynette Warburton; his sons, Richard Warburton and Michael Warburton; daughter Lisa Cardoshinsky; grandchildren Jennifer Milner, Caitlin, Chloe, Rachel, and Chase Warburton; and great-granddaughter Madyson Milner. He is preceded in death by his children Mary Rose, Kevin, and Wayne Warburton. Per his request, Al will be cremated, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
