Adelaida J. Cerda

Born on July 10, 1938 in Encinal, Texas to Anita & Jose Jimenez. She had a beautiful soul, a kind and loving heart and she was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandma and great yaya. She had a passion for cooking and going to the casino to gamble.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul A. Cerda, Sr. and son in law, Paul M. Fierro.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Cerda, Rosalinda Carreon, Oralia Fierro, Raul Cerda, Jr. and wife Norma, Elsa Ramirez and husband Richard, Sr. and Cynthia Palomo. Adelaida is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and her 20 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Monday, July 19, 2021 a mass of resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
