Xong Chanthavong passed away peacefully in his own home surrounded by his wife and children on September 16, 2012 at 11:17 A.M.
Xong was born on January 1, 1940 in Banongbuk, Laos.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Oraxone Chanthavong. His Children: Long, Sone, Sitt, Gin, Vong, Manit and Ditt. Sons and daughter-in-laws: Daniel, Thomas, Amanda, Michael, and also by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He retired from Ethicon after 22 years of Service.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday September 21, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at Saturday September 22, 2012 12:00 P.M. at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with a Buddhist Cremation Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
