Tonie was born Dec. 3rd, 1946 in El Remolino, Coahuila, Mexico. Tonie was a very kind, loving and caring person. Her greatest joy was caring for the love of her life, her family. She was a great cook. Most of her life she was a stay at home wife and mother. She received her Cosmetology License and had her own Hair Salon for several years. She most recently was a caregiver for the Elderly. Tonie enjoyed volunteering for the Dazzling Dames Non-Profit Organization of San Angelo and the former Rockabilly Mafia Dolls. She loved listening to the Spanish radio, watching her Spanish Novelas. Her passion was collecting Red Cardinals and Betty Boop.
Tonie will be forever remembered by her children, Emily (Edward) Mata, Saul (Mary), Marco (Magaly), Mando (Crystal Sepeda) Palos. Her brothers and sisters, Maria (Mucio) Alcozer, Herman (Juana), Jesse (Amelia), Joe (Sylvia), Hector (Loudres), and Linda Meza (Rudy Noguez).
She leaves behind 24 grandchildren and step-grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; Damian, Daniel, Darrek Castro, Gabriel (G-Bo) Mata, Alex (Holly), Cami, Roman, Saul, Raven, Nathan, Cadence, Alexis Palos, Makayla Garcia her great-niece whom she loved as a granddaughter and her one and only great-grand child Olivia Lynn Palos. Step-grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, David Gutierrez, Step-great grandchildren, Kady, Lily, Arianna, Preston, Alivia, Chole, Ryan Gutierrez. Numerous nephews and niece's.
Tonie was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Feliz Meza and the father of her children Saul R Palos.
Visitation is scheduled from 5pm to 7pm and Rosary will follow at 7pm on Thursday July 5th at Johnson's Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 10am Friday July 6th at St. Mary's Catholic church in San Angelo, TX. Burial will be at 12:30pm in Sonora TX., at the Catholic Cemetery.
Tonie’s Pallbearers will be; Damian and Darrak Castro, Saul Palos, David Gutierrez, Jonathan and Jacob Zepeda.
