Sue Nell Marshall

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, March 16th in Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 17th at Southgate Church of Christ with Paul Shero officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Sue Nell was born December 8, 1938 in San Angelo, TX to Roy and Johnnie (Justiss) Brown. She was a resident of San Angelo since 1958 and was a member of Southgate Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and for several years worked as an Administrative Assistant at San Angelo State School.

Sue Nell was married to Vaughn Marshall on March 30, 1985 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn’s daughter Donna Jean and her husband Sebastian Lara.

Survivors include her sons Keith Pool and wife Rhonda of Lubbock, Kevin Pool and fiancée Trisha Ubando of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren Myndee Pool, Kyler Pool, Kelea Pool and Ashlea Pool all of Lubbock, Lauren Pool of Longview and Devin Pool of Aspen, CO; one great granddaughter Taelyn Walker of Longview. When Sue Nell and Vaughn married her family grew by one daughter Kathy Gail Marshall, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.

The family request memorials be made to San Angelo Christian Academy or a favorite charity.
