Sotero Rodriguez Zuniga

Sotero Rodriguez Zuniga, San Angelo Texas, age 86, passed away November 4, 2017. He was born in Eola, Texas. He was married to Nora Rio's Zuniga. Better known as S.R. Zuniga in the community, he worked as carpenter all his life and was a member of the City Lumber Company for over 30 plus years. S.R. was well respected and well known throughout the community and highly recommended for his work. S.R. will truly be missed. S.R. was a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He had a passion for wood working. He was a big fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. He leaves behind by son, Ricky Zuniga and wife Yvette Zuniga, daughter, Emma Padron and husband Jose Padron (Chino), 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Victoria Hernandez of Hobbs, New Mexico. A Rosary service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 6 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
